La Chamba black clay cooking and serving dishes are handmade using traditional processes in the village of La Chamba, Colombia. Made from local clay, each piece is stone-smoothed by hand and fired at high temperatures to achieve its beautiful black finish. These are unglazed pieces that contain no toxins, making them a healthy alternative in your kitchen.
La Chamba can be used in the oven, microwave, on the stove top and even on an open fire and their beautiful aesthetic means you can take them straight to the table. Do not place in the dishwasher. Wooden utensils are recommended to avoid scratching.
Before its first use, fill the product 3/4 full with water and place in the oven at 200degrees. This will seal the item.
Lasagna dish medium is 33cm x22cm x 6cm deep.
Lasagna dish large is 33cm x 28cm x 6cm deep.
